Political Work

Our mission is rooted in compassion, inclusion, and service to those in need. Inspired by a strong family legacy, our work spans across multiple fronts, addressing critical global challenges and empowering marginalized communities.

I feel incredibly honored to be selected out of a large pool of applicants to promote the Girls Lead Act. The Bill is a critical piece of legislation that seeks to empower young women across the country by providing them with the leadership training and mentorship they need to succeed.

My role as an intern involved working closely with the organization’s leadership team to develop and implement strategies for passing the bill. This includes conducting research, reaching out to stakeholders and allies, and speaking to many congressmen who were on the fence. I also promoted the bill at the 2022 Summit For Democracy in front of many world leaders.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work has been the opportunity to connect with young women and girls who are directly impacted by the bill. Through outreach efforts, I have heard countless stories of young women who are struggling to access the resources and support they need to succeed in school and beyond. It is inspiring to see the impact that the Girls Lead Act can have on their lives, and I feel privileged to be the one to convey their stories to the politicians of the US.

Overall, working to pass the Girls Lead Act has been an incredibly fulfilling and rewarding experience. I am proud to be a part of an organization that is making a tangible difference in the lives of young women and girls, and I am committed to doing everything I can to support this important effort.
