In the Spotlight

As a prominent advocate and speaker, part of my mission has been to speak at various events click to read more about some of my highlighted events.

Why Charity?

As a child of immigrants or a child of a third culture, my identity was gently guided by feeling “belonging”. With only 0.9% of Pennsylvania’s population being Indian, it’s hard to find a sense of community. In return, I started organizing various events for people of different backgrounds to come together. Hosting the first cultural evening of my school, to organize a city-wide charity event for Ukraine. My focus has has always been on refugees because I, like many other immigrants in Pittsburgh, feel a connection with them. Vanshika comes from a long line of doctors and is primarily focused on getting medical supplies or food. She funded the hospital and donated $10,000 worth of care materials to Ukraine and also the establishment of a hospital for the blind in India
